A very big thanks to Claire Dennison, who helped us settle in. Claire and her friends provided all the horses for Troy's regiment, the beautiful horse and cart and the barn which features in the wedding dance scene.

Orchard House, Frome St Quinton

Nick and Margaret Read were a real help in providing the beautiful landscape, a flock of Dorset poll sheep and a heard of long horn cattle. We had a really fantastic time working with their sheep dog, Lucy - who you can see in action, along with the sheep when Oak discovers that his dog goes crazy!

The Tithe Barn and farm house, Wyke

The Tithe Barn served as a wonderful location, representing Bathsheba's farm. Thanks to Richard Loxton for being so accommodating.

Claremont Farm, Charlton Marshall

Clare freely allowed the use of her farmhouse and surroundings. She gave us the opportunity to film Boldwood on horseback.
