An amazing house which was a pleasure to film at. The inside of the house provided some of the interior of Boldwood's residence.

The Digby Estate

The hiring fair in the film came to life using the Sherborne Castle old stables. This location made for a perfect backdrop for the fair and for the large cast we used for this shoot.

Stock Gaylard - King Stag

We're indebted to Andrew and Josie Langmead for allowing us to film both inside their house and in the grounds of their deer park.

Andrew hand built an incredible authentic 19th Century Hay Rick which served us very well when Oak takes control of the fire on Bathsheba's fire.
